About the Role

Were looking for a Frontend Developer (React) to join a key integration team within a major digital banking project. This role is focused on building and embedding highly interactive UI components into third-party sites and applications, improving the overall user journey and streamlining secure communication between external systems and internal platforms.

Youll work closely with backend developers and analysts to ensure seamless API-driven experiences and contribute to a robust and scalable web architecture.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain interactive UI components like embedded buttons and widgets that connect third-party websites with our platform

• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with APIs and ensure smooth data flow

• Handle secure redirections, callback events, and cross-site messaging using postMessage and secure event listeners

• Participate in full-cycle development, including API consumption and error handling in frontend code

• Apply authentication standards such as OAuth2, token management, and CORS configuration

• Collaborate with the team on designing scalable, modular frontend solutions and improving UX across integration points

• (Nice to have) Use serverless platforms like Azure Functions or AWS Lambda to handle dynamic frontend-backend interactions

What You Bring

• 4+ years of frontend development experience, preferably with embedded integrations

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React

• Experience building embeddable web elements (e.g., payment buttons, secure widgets)

• Familiarity with APIs: consumption, documentation, and handling callbacks

• Basic backend knowledge using Node.js or Python is a plus

• Understanding of web security practices: OAuth2, token-based auth, CORS

• Experience with cross-site scripting and message-based interactions (e.g., postMessage)
